| Left: David in the rock garden in front of the studio. The studio building is at the back of the house on higher ground. Right: The previous owner was a painter and created the doors and this roof from salvaged materials from a nearby town. It gives very even light and leaves the walls free for hanging works. The studio can be seen from the back of the house and stands on higher ground above the dry rock garden. The house, outbuildings and grounds are being re-instated for a new use as an artist residency centre. |
